This is a classic view of Rosita's Bridge at the Riverwalk. I find high keyed colors very challenging to paint. I'm not sure I brought anything very original to this view but I do like the trees that form the background. They were dark and large leafed on the left side of the painting--then in the middle were those fine leafed trees that look violet in the harsh light. Finally the trees on the right were leafy but more traditionally green. The building on the far right was so white that it really stole the spotlight from the bridge--so I placed the two people right at the entry to the bridge to catch your eye, lead you over the bridge and away from that bulding!
