 I had painted a similar subject that my neice loved and purchased.  Her sister loved it and so    I did this one for her and we gave it to her for her birthday.  Both paintings were inspired by a trip Jim and I took to Hawaii to visit my son and daughter in law while they were stationed on Oahu.
