Am excited about this one. Hope it will be the start of a series of sunrise paintings of the lake. I love dramatic lighting and am applying everything I've learned from my Riverwalk at Night series to these lake paintings. What the lake paintings offer is a chance to learn more about painting vistas--those receding hills are just so beautiful to me and the colors at sunrise are so different from what you see at sunset. Sunsets tend to be more pinks and blues while the sunrise is just afire with oranges and reds.
