Alamo at Night and Riverwalk Shade-SOLD and SOLD

Two more Riverwalk pieces. These are kind of my bread and butter pieces since I have sold over 70 of these small paintings through the little gallery in downtown La Villita in the two years I have been a member of the River Art Group. It is one of the oldest art associations in the city--formed in the 40's and still going strong. Each artist member is allowed 2 large pieces and 6 small (under 10"x12") to show for 3 months at a time. At the end of the 3 months you must remove the unsold pieces and bring in fresh work. The gallery is always showing new pieces as things are sold and replaced. Sometimes a large piece will sell but the smaller easily packed pieces are of course more popular with the tourists. This year is the 175th anniversary of the Siege of the Alamo so maybe I should do a few more of that subject.
